Mazatlán Sinaloa.- Without major incidents, the “10 de Mayo” operation is being carried out, which was implemented by the Mazatlan Municipal Government in order to mitigate and contain the Covid-19 coronavirus contagions in the municipality.

As a result of the activity during Mother’s Day, five shops have been sanctioned, between these two flower shops, a seafood vendor, a restaurant and a fruit shop; In addition, a taqueria was suspended in Villa Unión, as reported by the Department of Social Communication of the City Council through an informative bulletin.

In this work led by the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, municipal workers participate in 160 official vehicles, who supervise that the sale of food is only to take away, that businesses respect the healthy distance, and also deliver mouth masks to those who do not carry.

Much of the operation was concentrated in the “Miguel Hidalgo” market in Colonia Benito Juárez and its surroundings, where despite the call to stay home, a large number of people were observed in the area.
