This was said by the mayor of Mazatlan regarding mothers day activities May 10

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- As a preventive measure during the coronavirus pandemic, restaurants can open their doors to the public only if they respect the rule that they are at 40 percent of their capacity on Mother’s Day, according to the words of Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres.

We have already given our position, we are autonomous, we have already given our position and I am going to take responsibility for compliance with that, restaurants will operate at 40 percent of their capacity, said Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, when questioned about the proximity of the holiday.

In Culiacán, it was made clear in a statement that on May 9, 10, 11, 14, 15 and 16, 2020, restaurants and businesses that sell food may only do so with service to domicile or will become creditors of sanctions.

Benitez stressed:  “They must take care not to sell more than 40 percent of their capacity so that the tables are kept at a distance, just as in the pastry shops, they will be allowed home delivery and take care that there are no more than 10 people waiting “

The mayor emphasized respect for this call, since if irregularities are detected in the establishments, they could even close the premises.

They develop a promotional application for restaurants in Sinaloa

The idea is to support companies now that they cannot open their doors to the public due to Covid-19.

In search of supporting small and medium-sized companies in the municipality, a website was developed where all the restaurants can be published and thus prevent people from crowding into the establishments.

Jaime Sañudo, who disclosed the details of the application, explained that the main objective of this project is to support the local economy and that the people of Guanajuato can avoid contagion by using this technological tool that allows them to stay home and have the service power supply at your fingertips.

” Just as Facebook brings people’s lives to the internet, we take everything from food to the internet and we are going to do it through a website that will later be a mobile application ,” he explained.

The benefit will be a support to the local economy, especially to the food businesses so that they can appreciate the menu now that many people are staying at home.

People will be able to access restaurants through this mobile application and will be able to order at home or order and collect.
