2020 Pacific hurricanes and storms have been assigned names

The season will start on May 15 in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and on June 1 in the Central Pacific, which corresponds to the boundaries with Mexico

The 24 names for the next hurricane season are already ready, according to the National Meteorological Service, through the National Water Commission (Conagua), and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration ( NOAA) of the United States, therefore, is expected to start this May 15 in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and June 1 in the Central Pacific.

Experts predict that there will be 16 named storms, 8 hurricanes, and 4 major category 3 hurricanes onwards, so these phenomena are expected to have sustained winds of at least 179 kilometers per hour.
