Surveillance patrols continue in Los Cabos; whoever fails to comply will be fined

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- Since the beginning of the health contingency and before the declaration of phase 3 of the pandemic, surveillance patrols have been carried out throughout the territory of Los Cabos, with the aim of verifying public spaces and thus avoid more infections in the families of Cabezas, this was announced by the municipal director of Civil Protection, Erick Santillán Castillo.

The public servant continued to report that the surveillance are carried out of commercial areas, where it is verified that they comply with basic hygiene measures, and in the case of being shops for non-essential activities, it is verified that they are closed since by decree of the three levels of government cannot remain open.

Likewise, he explained that there is also surveillance of recreation spaces, shopping centers, beaches, and public squares; this because, since last April 25, the state government restricted access to the places already mentioned: “Even the corresponding sanctions are already applicable, there should not be people doing outdoor activities,” said Santillán Castillo.

To conclude, he announced that the surveillance patrols take place every day of the week, randomly; In this sense, he stressed that surveillance is carried out in conjunction with the General Directorate of Public Security, Preventive Police and Municipal Traffic, the National Guard, SEDENA and SEMAR.
