La Paz, Baja California Sur.- As of this Wednesday April 22nd, no vehicle will be able to circulate in the municipality of La Paz after ten o’clock at night, “unless it has some kind of emergency or it is on its way to the hospital,” announced the Municipal Council of Civil Protection.

The measure is taken after the start of Phase 3 was decreed in all Mexico.

“The Municipal Police of La Paz will stop all vehicles starting at 10 pm, except in cases of force majeure such as illness or injury, in addition to the suspension of alcohol sales being ordered from 6 in the afternoon, as ordered by the Municipal Council of Civil Protection, in the face of widespread failure to comply with the main measure of” staying home “.

“Only workers will be able to leave the essential activities stipulated by the authority, so filters will be intensified in 13 points of the city including the Forjadores, Pino Payas and Agustín Olachea boulevards, as well as 7 delegation filters,” said the Mayor of La Paz, Rubén Muñoz Alvarez.

In the same way, the mayor announced that the use of a mouth cover is compulsory for anyone who is on the street, as it is a fundamental palliative, and a campaign will be launched to distribute and disseminate its correct use by the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF).
