Nine new cases registered in the state of Durango

Durango State Secretary of Health, Sergio González Romero, reported that 9 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours, reaching 29 confirmed cases in the state, so far there have been 4 deaths, 340 negative cases, and 53 suspects.

Eight of the new cases correspond to a family outbreak in Ignacio Allende municipality of Guadalupe Victoria (relatives of the first patient in that municipality), these are 3 children under 10 years old and 2 adults between 30 and 40 years old. The infected subjects are 5 women and three men. The patients presented mild symptoms and are in home isolation, constantly monitored by health authorities.

The ninth case corresponds to a 33-year-old male truck driver who traveled from Gómez Palacio, Duranto; to Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, and from there to Tijuana Baja California.

Of the confirmed cases in Durango, 5 are in the state capital, 10 in Gómez Palacio, 1 San Juan del Río, 1 in Mapimi, 1 in Lerdo and 11 in Guadalupe Victoria.
