Around 12 units from different security agencies participated in a tour of various parts of the city
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Yesterday afternoon, minutes after 2:00 p.m., a convoy of around 12 units left the Naval Zone to understand a surveillance tour of different parts of the city.
The convoy was made up of elements from the State and Municipal Civil Protection, Public Security and the National Guard.
Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, coordinator of Civil Protection in Mazatlán, pointed out that this operation is only for surveillance.
“It is just a patrol for security and surveillance, nothing in particular,” he said.
The tour was made from the Naval Zone to the tourist strip, from Avenida del Mar to Cerritos and then it was oriented to Gran Plaza, to continue through the General Hospital and the IMSS Hospital.
Two hours after starting these tasks, no incident had been registered, Ruiz Gastelum reported.
