Mazatlán, Sinaloa (April 11, 2020).- The Deputy Director of Municipal Traffic, Francisco Guerra González, announced that the closure of roads to the Olas Altas area or the Paseo del Centenario, is a preventive measure that will be in force as long as the healthy distance campaign for the Coronavirus, and the call to the general public to stay home continue.

He said that following the instructions of the municipal president, Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres “El Químico“, what is sought is to avoid the possible agglomeration of people since that area of the city is one of the most crowded at any time of the year.

The official clarified that residents can enter or exit through the roads that are closed to the general public.

“We are following the instructions of our mayor, as well as the indications of the Ministry of Health. These closures are being made to avoid crowding. Only the residents of the place are allowed to pass, or those who live in the places near the closings. We must remember that it is for our own safety and our own health.
