Progreso, Yucatan.- The government of the Port of Progreso has decided that it will throw coconuts on the heads of people who are surprised walking along the beach or through the streets of this coastal city, as a measure to make people stay at home.
The nation’s health emergency has been declared, and city governments are taking stringent measures to keep people from ignoring the imposed stay-at-home rule that will prevent the virus from spreading.
Progreso, Yucatan, is not the exception, as they have declared as a punishment measure to the disobedient, throwing coconuts on their heads from drones that are flying the city.
These coconuts are intended to fall on the heads of people outside their homes, hurting them and showing them the lesson of what happens if they do not stay at home as ordered by the country’s president.
“It doesn’t matter if they get a concussion, it is necessary for people to learn the lesson and once and for all stay at home,” said a spokesman for the port government.
