Some 500 graves with a capacity for two bodies, each, were prepared in Puerto VallartaJalisco, as a “preparation” for the increase in deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic ( COVID-19 ).

As of April 2, in Jalisco, there were already more than 100 positive cases for COVID-19 and some four deaths from the virus.

Jalisco registered a new death from the COVID-19 pandemic in Puerto Vallarta, the fourth in the state and 108 confirmed cases of the condition.

In Jalisco, other deaths have been reported in the municipalities of Guadalajara, Zapopan, and Tomatlán; They correspond to two men, both 55 years old, and a 56-year-old woman.

This Thursday, five new cases of COVID-19 were reported, for which 104 sick people accumulate in the state and four asymptomatic carriers.

Until today, suspicious cases have been studied in 75 municipalities of Jalisco and contagions have only been confirmed in 11 of them, most of them are concentrated in Zapopan, where 47% have occurred and 33% in Guadalajara.

In this Thursday’s report, Yahualica de González Gallo, San Julián and Lagos de Moreno were added to the municipalities with confirmed cases of COVID-19 , along with Cuautla, Tomatlán, Tecolotlán, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Puerto Vallarta and Ameca.

The cases discarded total 725 and there are 638 suspected cases. Seven people remain hospitalized in private and public hospitals, in stable condition (three), delicate (one), severe (two) and very serious (one).
