The General Hospital is the largest institution in Mazatlán, next to the Regional Military Hospital.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa (April 2, 2020).- If the Martiniano Carvajal hospital is designated as a COVID-19 treatment center, it would immediately be evicted and the conversion would take place, in order to receive patients with coronavirus.
The director of the General Hospital, Héctor Carreón Tizcareño, stressed that they are ready for the health emergency.
“Here the General Hospital is the largest institution in Mazatlán, next to the Regional Military Hospital”, Carreón Tizcareño said.
All hospital managers are attentive and prepared with their staff to abide by the health provision.
At the entrance to the General Hospital, a special structure unit is already being built to receive patients before admitting them.
These clinics are installed simultaneously in Los Mochis, Guasave, Culiacán and Mazatlán.
