MAZATLAN SINALOA.- The work of the rainwater collectors in the downtown area continues.

According to those in charge of the work a few days ago, some problems arose due to the location of the drainage system, but the work continues without serious alterations.

Regarding this, the Municipal Board of Drinking Water and Sewerage of Mazatlán released the notice that several blocks around Miguel Alemán Avenue will be without a supply of drinking water, at least all that remains of this Friday.

The notice mentions due to the placement of the concrete tunnels that cover almost the entire width of the east-west lane of Miguel Alemán Avenue, that is, from the API dock to Olas Altas, it was necessary to close the valves that supply drinking water.

The citizens who will be affected by this closure are Carvajal, Rosales, Alemán, Galeana and Teniente José Azueta streets.

If there are no problems, the drinking water service could be restored between 5 or 6 in the afternoon.

Jumapam personnel asks citizens to care for and supply the water they have in water tanks and reservoirs.
