Palapas and Bungalows Burn
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The RV Park located in the Punta Cerritos area, burned completely to the ground, and the people who live near the place had to be evacuated.
It is the place where the American and Canadian Rvers arrive, so, some of them had to be evacuated from the place too, to avoid any injuries.
Firefighters are still working at the scene right now (09:30 PM)
Fortunately, everyone got out safe and has shelter tonight. For the most part, the entire park was destroyed – the people there lost everything including passports, Money, credit cards, clothes, personal belongings – everything.
There will be a collection being taken for clothes, shoes, food, medicines (list to come soon) for those in need. The collection point is Looney Bean in the strip mall of the park. If you are here and can help, please drop off whatever you can spare.
