These are three cases in Culiacán: two men of 26 and 72 years of age, as well as a woman 30 years old. In Mazatlán, a 47-year-old man was detected and tested positive.

At 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 25th, the Health Secretariat reported that there are also 15 suspected cases that are distributed in Culiacán, Mazatlán and Los Mochis pending the results from the state laboratory.

The Secretary of Health added that the 55 and 72-year-old male cases in Culiacán are hospitalized but stable, the rest are in their homes, isolated and under surveillance.

“Four new cases are confirmed, of which one is from Mazatlán and the others are in Culiacán. In total we have seven cases in surveillance, only two are kept in the hospital under the corresponding protocol ” the Health Secretary said.

“This simply translates the need to further strengthen prevention and health promotion actions,” Efren Encinas Torres, Sinaloa Health Secretary concluded.
