94,800 attended the different events and 45,000 attended the traditional motorcycle parade, confirmed by Eloy Ruíz Gastélum

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The International Motorcycle Week 2020 left a “good taste in the mouth”, as stated by the head of Civil Protection of Mazatlán, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum.

He said that thanks to the security operations coordinated by the Municipal Government, the Organizing Advisory Council and security institutions, they fulfilled their mission of safeguarding tourists, spectators, and participants during the event.

Eloy Ruiz Gastélum announced today that 94,800 people attended the different events and 45,000 witnessed the traditional motorcycle parade, of which 15,000 had an active participation as part of the route along Avenida del Mar, including elements of the Federal Police. Meanwhile, in the Plaza de la Moto 12 thousand people were estimated to close with the last event on the card. 2,000 people attended the beach area where the last activity was carried out for motorized people.

Regarding the reported figures of incidents, 2 accident victims who received timely medical attention were pointed out, being transferred to the hospital and evaluated by trained doctors in the area. In general numbers, the Plaza de la Moto managed to gather 23 thousand 800 people during the three days of activities; 4,000 attendees attended the beach parties; and in Olas Altas, 7 thousand motorcyclists participated in the biker party.
