Art and Culture Show with a Cause at Mazatlan’s Teodoro Mariscal Stadium: VIDEO

More than 60 stands were installed on the first level of the “Teodoro Mariscal” baseball stadium, which will host a culture and art show for three days through the production of hand clothing, paintings, photographs, from well-known American, Canadian and Mazatlecos artists. A part of the sales will be for social works through the Mazatlan DIF and the same for the Buenos Aires Red Cross.

The organization participated in the Institute of Culture, DIF, the Venados de Mazatlan Club and representatives of the communities of Canada and the United States that year after year come to the city and port of Mazatlan.

There are bedspreads, small blankets, women’s and men’s clothing, from blouses, dresses to embroidered shirts for men. Paintings of well-known artists and photographs, many of Mazatlan’s landscapes such as waves, sunsets, and birds in their habitat.

Before the inauguration a ribbon cut was made, where the queen of the Carnival Libya II, the child queen, Valentina, and the king of joy, Paco I.

Among the organizers were Marisol Galván and Simón Lynds, who said that the support of the Venados Club was with the publicity and marketing of the event, as well as space, technical team, and human staff.
