Walmart, Grupo Bimbo, Grupo Salinas, Omnilife, among other national and multinational companies, have made public their support towards their collaborators to be absent from their work activities on March 9, the day in which the # UnDíaSinNosotras strike will take place nationwide, convened by a feminist collective in Veracruz called Brujas del Mar.

For its part, Walmart of Mexico and Central America said through a statement that they will be in solidarity with the more than 108,000 women who are part of the company. “We support, without reservation, initiatives that seek to eliminate violence or other actions that affect the integrity and dignity of women in particular and of all individuals in general,” the document details.

Grupo Omnilife Chivas said he shared his deep concern about the conditions of vulnerability in which women in Mexico find themselves and therefore respect the national protest derived from the # UnDíaSinNosotras movement.

While Grupo Salinas reported that its workforce is made up of more than 40,000 women and that they are an essential part of society . “We know that a country with full, successful, safe women with opportunities will be better; We recognize and appreciate what all spheres of society mean. ”
