Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- With the presence of Mr. José Carlos López, State Manager of Marketing and Sports Events of Companies El Debate, Fabiola Verde, of Imdem, Salvador Reyes of the Cobras Group, as well as Prof. Guadalupe López, Elías Rojas, of Helados Ely, and Héctor Mexia of Physical Medicine Sportkines, announced the details of the seventh edition of the Carrera Run EL DEBATE 5 and 21 K, to be held on March 15.
Everything will start at the Fisherman’s Monument (place of departure and finish) at 6:30 am with the start of 5 and 21 K.
The route for the 5 K will be on Paseo Claussen until reaching the Shield in High Waves and back. While the crossing of the Half Marathon will be two laps that will go from Paseo de Claussen, Olas Altas, Paseo del Centenario, roundabout of El Faro, then La Puntilla, and to Calle Antonio Rosales to detonate along the same path.
There will be different hydration modules located at the finish line, in the Sister Cities Park, Escudo and Antonio Rosales Street.
It is expected to reach 500 participants in this edition, with the participation of athletes from Sinaloa, Durango, Baja California, Coahuila, Sonora, as well as some Asian, American and Canadian athletes.
The little ones will also see action with some children’s races of categories from 2007, 2008-09, 2010-11 and 2012-13 at 08:00 hours, as reported by Professor Guadalupe López, chief judge of the Race.
The registration fee is 250 pesos for the 5K runners, 300 pesos for the 21K runners and 150 pesos for the children, which will make them creditor to a participant kit that includes chip, participant number and the new jersey Commemorative of the Run.
The first places of both branches of the 5 K will receive 2 thousand pesos, while those of 21 K will take 4 thousand in cash.
Sportkines staff will have a space with stretchers to give recovery massages to the competitors of the Run.
