Mazatlan City Council completes 48 new works in 48 days

Mazatlan, Sin.- Just 48 days have passed since 2020, and the Government headed by Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres has already delivered 48 new works from the 255 package that he promised to inaugurate (one for each business day) in this year, which It represents a record figure.

Works have been done in schools and vulnerable neighborhoods, include bathroom constructions, perimeter fences, roofs, rehabilitation of drinking water networks, drainage, and street paving.

On Monday FEb. 17th, Benitez Torres inaugurated the rehabilitation of the potable water and sewerage network, and the paving on Loma Larga Street, between Cerro del Crestón and Cerro Colorado in Colonia Genaro Estrada, with an investment of 1,697,048 pesos.

The work was done for the benefit of 1 065 inhabitants of the area, with money from the Contribution Fund for Social Infrastructure and own resources of the City Council of Mazatlan, the city of Carnival.
