Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In Mazatlan, sport fishing has been an activity that has been practiced for decades and is now consolidated, explains Captain Carlos, of a company dedicated to it.
The expeditions, he says, have a duration of approximately 4 hours, in which one sails up to 15 miles to the sea, in search of fish such as marlin, sailfish, and goldfish, mainly, although he specified that sometimes they “stumble” on sword fish or blackfish
Sport fishing, he tells us, is a passion and anyone can practice it, because he says that “nobody takes up training, they come to fish.”
He added that while some users take the product to their homes to eat it, others prefer to release the fish back to their habitat and others choose to give them away.
The Captain explained that the activity has been maintained due to the fact that there are specimens in the fishing area and that there are commonly daily departures.
