The president of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association made this suggestion and drivers feel more prepared for this opportunity.

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In order to be able to enter the cruise ship pier and provide the rental service, the Mazatlan Pulmonia Trade Union requested the intervention of the Secretary of Tourism Óscar Pérez Barros to support them in the application before the Integral Port Administration (API).

At a meeting held in the Sectur, the president of the Board of Directors of the aforementioned organization, Mariano Ortega Vizcarra, asked Pérez Barros to be the support before the API so that his units can also enter the port area.

He added that for this they have improved their units, modernizing and at the moment there is a very important advance in improving pulmonia with attachments that make them safer for their occupants but without losing their traditional essence.

In this regard, the Secretary of Tourism said he will hold a meeting with the Director of the Mazatlan API, Jorge González Olivieri, to present the request made to him.

In addition, the president of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), Michelle Paige, made the request to include pulmonias for cruise passengers to take tours in Mazatlan the city, taking advantage of the traditional transport.
