According to the version of some witnesses; remodeling work was carried out on the roof of the hotel and an error in the calculation of the engineers led to the antenna falling

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- A telephone antenna with a height of 10 to 15 meters apparently collapsed because of a human error and affected a self-service store, the hood of a car and a part of the roof of the hotel where It was placed.

The incident was recorded during the afternoon of Thursday, between Camarón Sábalo Avenue and Mero Street, in the Sábalo Country subdivision, in Mazatlan.

According to the version of some witnesses, remodeling work was carried out on the roof of the hotel and an error in the calculation of the engineers led the antenna to fall and end up above a pharmacy located in the Golden Zone.

Immediately the site was attended by Civil Protection personnel, and elements of the Tourist Police to provide support and proceeded to evacuate all the people from the establishment to avoid any major incident.

The entire area was closed so that no vehicles, pedestrians or any person passed in what the relevant maneuvers were performed to remove the antenna from the place.
