Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS ). For an incident that was recorded this Thursday, January 29, aboard a flight from London to San Jose del Cabo, the aircraft was forced to land in Canada, where an “unruly passenger” was arrested by the authorities.

A spokesman for the Authority Winnipeg Airport (WAA), Tyler MacAfee confirmed that a male was arrested by the RCMP in Canada, while other passengers were sent to a hotel for investigations.

“They have unloaded the passengers and are sending them to a local hotel,” he said about the situation of the TUI BY32 flight to San Jose del Cabo , which landed in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Finally, it was detailed that no person was injured during the incident, however, no further information was provided on the case or those involved. 

It is worth mentioning that, the direct route from London to Los Cabos began operating in November 2019 with an initial flight that carried more than 340 tourists , mostly British.
