Culiacán Botanical Garden: conservation, research and education

Inaugurated in 1986 and overcoming the real estate boom back then, the project has excellent location, and this important green conservation area has now become one of the most important gardens on the continent.

The botanical garden of Culiacán is based on four fundamental pillars: conservation, research, education and exhibition.

Visitors can take a guided tour and get to know over 1,800 species of plants along with a collection of 39 works of contemporary art.

The garden is managed by the Botanical and Zoological Society of Sinaloa and is considered by the Garden Tourism Awards as one of the 10 best botanical gardens in North America.
