Mazatlan Comedy Club Season 6 2020

We asked Cheryl Gaudet, the Club’s creator and producer how it felt to flawlessly pull off her biggest night yet:

“What a night! A record-breaking sell-out crowd, delicious and beautifully prepared food, flawless service and tons of side-splitting laughs with Julie Kidd and Jeff Capri”
I couldn’t be happier or more proud of what we’ve created at the Mazatlán Comedy Club and can’t imagine working with a more amazing team. Lance Vient, Ana Ramos, Chef and the entire staff team at Hotel Playa Mazatlán deserve a huge standing ovation!”

Doors opened at 5:30 at the Playa Mazatlán Hotel as hundreds of locals, ex-pats and visitors alike poured into the Venados showroom. After being personally escorted to their seats, everyone was invited to fill up their plates at the buffet, which included dishes like:

  • Chicken breast with white wine and parmesan cheese
  • Pork tenderloin with chimichurri
  • Potato gratin dauphinoise
  • Lasagna bolognese
  • Minestrone soup with basil pesto
  • Vegetable ratatouille

Guests are also treated to an all you can eat dessert table and open bar with table service that continues throughout the entire show, until 9pm.

Comics Julie Kidd and Jeff Capri - Mazatlan comedy show

The headlining comedians Julie Kidd and Jeff Capri delivered two hours of side-splitting laughs with their impressions, parody tunes, and hilarious skits. It’s no wonder there was a constant stream of laughter coming from the hotel’s theatre, as Cheryl only invites the best of the best to perform at the club.

For many in attendance, the Mazatlán Comedy Club isn’t just a form of entertainment, it’s a watering hole and stomping ground to spend a hilarious night with old and new friends alike.

Season 6 still has TWO shows left – Sunday February 16th and Sunday March 15th. Judging by how popular the club has become, organizers are suggesting you get your tickets now before they sell out again.

Tickets are $700 pesos and include the show, buffet and open bar.
Information on reserving tickets can be found on the Mazatlán Comedy Club’s website, or by heading down to the lobby of the Hotel Playa Mazatlán.
