In addition to meeting with Quirino Ordaz Coppel, governor of Sinaloa, Enrique Bonilla came to Mazatlan to take a look at the football stadium that is being built in the port.

Governor Quirino Ordaz pointed out that his would not be the first time that Sinaloa has a football team in the LIGA MX, as Dorados de Sinaloa have previously played in the “Primera División” .

The rumor is that the team of Puebla would be willing to sell, and that’s how this franchise could be arriving in Mazatlan.

Talks about the sale of Puebla have going around for months, the team’s change of administration apparently wants to relocate it to another city, and Mazatlan has everything to become the home of a new team, with a whole new identity of its own.
