Escuinapa, Sinaloa.- The Directorate of Public Security and Civil Protection carried out the seizure of 154 kilos of illegal pyrotechnics.
In order to prevent incidents an anonymous complaint was made, that led to the confiscation of more than 408 kilograms, in two different raids.
Juan Carlos Natarén Ovando, director of Public Safety and Municipal Transit, said that on the instructions of Dr. Emmett Soto Grave, municipal president of Escuinapa, are clear, the goal is seize any illegal gunpowder-based products.
The confiscated merchandise is under custody of the local authorites in the facilities of the State Secretariat of Public Security.
