The National Migration Institute (INM) reported that, from December 2018 to November 2019, it has a record of 207,741 Mexican people repatriated from the United States and Canada, of which about 95% have basic, middle or higher schooling and 99% have work experience.

By academic degree, 44.46% of the nationals and informed the immigration authority, have finished high school; 28.88%, primary; 13.39%, high school, technical or commercial studies; 7.54%, know how to read and write; 1.24%, bachelor’s degree, and 0.04% have a master’s degree or higher degree.

Only, 4.43% said they do not have any academic instruction.

With regard to work experience or occupation, 45.68% reported being professionals; 19.82%, chefs; 16%, of the service area; 11.76%, have another trade, and 3.78%, engage in agriculture.

Similarly, 2.83% said they have skills in the area of ​​maintenance, construction, electricity, blacksmithing, and welding.

It should be noted that only 0.12% of nationals received did not specify such information related to work experience or occupation.

The repatriated minors add up to 1,2061, while 195,680 are over 18 years of age.

The foregoing, since those repatriated from 30 to 50 years, are 97,558 cases, followed by the range of 18 to 29 years, with 89,065; from 12 to 17 years old, 10,843; over 50 years old, 9,057, and from zero to 11 years old, 1,218.

Of the 32 entities in the country, the 10 states with the highest number of returnees are: Guerrero with 22,176; Oaxaca with 19,340; Michoacán, 17,848; Guanajuato, 14,221; Chiapas, 12,652 ; Veracruz, 12,243; Puebla, 12,175; State of Mexico, 11.46; Jalisco, 8,930, and Chihuahua, 7,199.
