Baja Ferries returns La Paz-Mazatlan route service

Baja Ferries, a logistic-shipping group, welcomed home the ship “Baja Star” after several months of absence for maintenance services on machines and modifications to improve navigation and travel experience to users.

The ship returns to cover the Mazatlan-La Paz route by expanding the existing cargo and passenger transport capacity, which will complement and strengthen connectivity between Baja California Sur and the rest of the country, according to Baja Ferries.

The company said in a statement that the “Baja Star” has the capacity to transport 1,500 linear meters of cargo, as well as 705 passengers, which represents three times more than the average daily demand of passengers on this route, which will boost Tourism of the region and the country.

In addition, it has services to pamper users by offering 340 seats in the lounge area, 57 cabins of different categories, restaurant area, coffee shop, kids club, bar, pet area and more amenities for the user to have a trip unforgettable.

The ship is already sailing in the Sea of ​​Cortez and tickets are now available for sale. The company is currently investing in expanding passenger capacity on the “Mexico Star” ship on the Topolobampo-La Paz route.
