Mazatlan families already have a new option in the city to say goodbye to the old year with a party, which the municipal president Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres is planning with the Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art of Mazatlan.
In the Olas Altas area, the bay will be illuminated with a great light show and an impressive flash of fireworks.
The celebration of the evening will be for Tuesday, December 31, which has been called “Welcome 2020”.
The celebration will begin at 9 at night and end at 4 in the morning.
In the area where it is traditionally used for the celebrations of the Mazatlan International Carnival, which is close to arriving, that is, from the El Venadito monument to the Sinaloa Shield, it will be the main stage where approximately 9 thousand people will have access, Families and tourists will enjoy live music.
The municipal authorities informed that there will be a thousand tables, for which you have to pay a cost of 400 pesos, so citizens can bring their food and drinks. Each table includes 10 chairs and tablecloths.
The end of the year party, where Mayor Benítez Torres will be present, will be entertained by groups such as La Calle Sentido Contrario, Los Cheles, and La Falsa Orquesta Cubana.
The staff of the Institute of Culture informed that in order to take care of the safety of the attendees, it will not be possible to enter with glass bottles or containers or cutlery.
