Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- To increase the quality of the tourist service in Sinaloa, the National Polytechnic Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism will give a diploma in training of general tourist guides, where experts from this university and the national museum of anthropology and history, announced the director of the Mazatlan Unit of Continuing Education of said house of studies.

Andrés Gutiérrez Márquez invited tour operators to professionalize in the area and can be differentiated from those who do not know the sector, since the information given to tourists is replicated in other places when they return to their lands when they know the Beauties of this Mexican country and Sinaloan state.

“There are 12 modules, from contemporary art, pre-Hispanic art, colonial art, archeology, tourist geography, tourist routes are worked, that is, it is a fairly complete diploma, you also work what is group management and leadership.”

The call was launched from Monday, August 16, and consists of 6 months of face-to-face classes from January 27 to June 30, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. with intervals of breaks in strong seasons for tour guides.

The number of fees is 6 during the course and is equivalent to 3 thousand 417 pesos per payment; and it is open to the general public, not only to those who already work in the tourism sector.

Through the Sectur it was also announced that more courses will probably be opened for the municipality of El Fuerte, but everything depends on the demand that is presented.
