La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). The head of the Secretariat of Urban Planning, Infrastructure and Mobility (Sepuim), Genaro Ruiz Hernández said that in the city of La Paz the construction of 6 bridges is expected to be located south of the capital of Baja California Sur, which will have an investment of 240 million pesos.

“We have a project before the Metropolitan Fund, La Paz is part of this fund and there is a project of 6 bridges that go to the exit to the south; that is to say, from the colony La Pasión and reaches the ford of El Mezquitito, that project is around 240 million pesos that is also there, it is already registered

“Maybe if the rules of operation of the Federal Government, the new ones that are going to be issued, are already published because we could have good news there. I don’t get ahead because we still don’t have the terms of reference, ”said the official.

In this sense, Ruiz Hernández did not give details of when these works will begin, much less when they will be completed, but made it clear that these works will be carried out in the city for the benefit of South Californians.

On the other hand, he commented that the State Government has been working to improve the mobility of people who have motor disabilities, and that the Centro colony was the first to be conditioned so that citizens with such disabilities can move without major complications.

“The infrastructure we do, we do it thinking about giving better mobility, being inclusive; All our sidewalks have the part of the ramps for people with motor disabilities, if you look at the downtown area previously there were steps the same sidewalks now no longer have it, you have the tactile guide for people who can not see, that is the way to do it and we hope that in the next session the deputies would have a more up-to-date regulatory framework on that issue, ”said the Secretary.

Finally, he said he was confident that the State Congress could legislate on mobility, after the National Regeneration Movement (Morena ) bench rejected the governor’s initiative, Carlos Mendoza Davis, for alleged inconsistencies.
