Los Cabos BCS toll booths will resume charging fees this Friday

After resuming mobility on the Los Cabos road, collection operations will be resumed.

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). After Wednesday night the collection booths are open in the municipality of Los Cabos, Caminos and Puentes Federales (CAPUFE) announced that they will resume their normal functions from Friday, November 29.  

“Because the state highway in the municipality of Los Cabos is functioning normally and mobility is fluid […] it will resume its normal operations in the highway (quota) from 20:00 hours,” he said. the Undersecretariat of Civil Protection in Baja California Sur

The booths were released due to meteorological issues, after the effects suffered by the tourist destination due to torrential rains and the release of streams in some areas of San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.   

In the meantime, the damage assessment routes for the communities where the greatest affectations were recorded were initiated, prior to the request of the emergency declaration by the Government of Baja California Sur for the municipalities of La Paz and Los Cabos.

“The supervision work began to make an account of the damage caused by this rainy cold after passing through the state territory, mainly in the southern communities,” said the Secretary-General of Government, Álvaro De la Peña Angulo.
