Sonora.- The first snowfall of the season was recorded this Thursday in the Sierra La Mariquita, in the municipality of Cananea, Sonora. 

Through social networks, videos of this natural phenomenon have been shared, where you can observe a beautiful landscape covered with white and the “rain” of ice.

This snowfall falls after the entry of the cold front number 16, in the municipality of Cananea, located in the north of the state of Sonora.

According to the specialist of the National Water Commission (Conagua) in Sonora, Gilberto Lagarda Vázquez, do not have figures on the amount of snow that fell on the area, since they do not have an office in the town.
