In this case, passenger traffic in Mazatlan is one million 125 passengers, until November 20, after 2018, the arrival of the passenger one million occurred on December 21 and was the first occasion before the end of the year that amount will be reached, something that is happening again today, added the head of the Sectur.
Regarding the Culiacán International Airport, they add up to October 31 million 2 029 thousand 738 passengers, and said that by the end of the year it is expected that 10 percent more of them will arrive.
This, he said, is the result of tourism promotion, participation in fairs and special events, advertising, and work with business partners, among other programs that have been carried out following the instructions of the State Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, which It also represents the increase in national and foreign air connectivity.
He said that the positive results left by the 2018 Tianguis Turística continue to give favorable things, as in this case.
To this we must add the agreements that have been made with the director of the Airport Group of the North Center (OMA) Ricardo Dueñas, to have the results that now position Sinaloa as one of the states where the movement of air passengers is increased .
Likewise, he considered the commitments that have been made with the administrators of the airports of Mazatlan, Víctor Vladimir Ramírez and Culiacán, José Luis Villanueva.
