Los Cabos will close 2019 with hotel occupancy of 70% and 98% in timeshare units

The timeshare figures for 2019 are similar to the end of 2018, said the President of the Sudcalifornian Association of Timeshare Developers

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS ). 2019 will close with important indicators since an occupational rate of 98% is estimated in timeshares and closure in the hotel industry with a figure greater than 70% in Los Cabos, said the executive president of the Sudcalifornian Association of Developers of Timeshare (Asudestico), Francisco Javier Olivares

In this regard, he stressed that in the southern municipality there are no bad seasons for a timeshare, as there are always guests every day of the year. When comparing 2019 with the end of 2018 there are figures similar to 100%. 

“Sometimes expectations are exceeded by what (you) have to request from the hotel section spaces for tourists to stay in this destination,” he said. 

For his part, Javier Olivares pointed out that work is being done to extend the stay of tourism that visits Los Cabos, which will allow a greater collection of resources in the different attractions, including the natural beauties of the rural area such as Sol de Mayo, Miraflores, and Santiago. 

As for the arrival of the first direct flight from London to Los Cabos, the director of Asudestico reiterated that it will seek to enter with the European marking, conducting market studies to show the product in Europe and other countries that are interested in acquiring a timeshare in the town. 

“For us, as a timeshare, all tourists are future customers who will surely be able to return and stay longer in Los Cabos, and enjoy more of the attractions offered as a destination,” he concluded.
