Mayor of Mazatlan signs agreement with CMIC for high quality public construction works

In order to provide training to builders and improve the quality of public works in the municipality, an agreement was signed between the City Council of Mazatlan and the southern delegation of the Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry (CMIC), in Sinaloa.

The signing of the agreement took place in the Cabildo Hall, with the presence of Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres; the secretary of the City Council, José de Jesús Flores Segura, as well as Eleuterio Silva Trujillo, president of the CMIC Delegation Sinaloa Sur and Miguel Enrique Ceballos, secretary of CMIC.

Eleuterio Silva said that on behalf of the CMIC there is a commitment to build with high quality materials and made a call to all companies and citizens who are carrying out some kind of construction work in the Historic Center of the port.

The municipal president stated that all construction companies are being given the opportunity to participate in the different schemes of public construction, with the commitment to do quality work for the benefit of the Mazatlan society.

“I know that the construction works that are being carried out across the city are high quality works,” the mayor said.

Benítez Torres added that this agreement includes an initiative for the constant training of builders.

“Training is essential for everyone. It is necessary to maintain this continuing education, and today I celebrate the agreement being given in this way; we are very happy about this istuation. Social justice is also building high quality works for our citizens,” Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres concluded.
