Mazatlan will receive 3 direct flights from Canada: Óscar Pérez BarrosThe Secretary of Tourism announced that flights will arrive nonstop from Quebec, Ottawa, and Victoria

The Secretary of Tourism in the State announced the above in the framework of the celebrations of the Fiesta Amigos de Mazatlan 2019, indicating that he held a meeting with the Executive Vice President of the Canadian Sunwing airline, Eric Rodriguez, in order to land large projects that will bring more tourism to Mazatlan and Sinaloa.

The state official said that after the last time they met in Calgary, Canada, with executives of the airline and its Vice President, which was the Governor of the State Quirino Ordaz Coppel, the requests for three direct flights to this city were made.

These routes, added the Secretary of Tourism, will come nonstop from Quebec, Ottawa, and Victoria.

He added that the only city that has had better growth in the country with the Sunwing airline, is Mazatlan, which speaks of the interest they have shown in connecting it with Canada

Pérez Barros mentioned about the new projects that are currently being carried out here, such as the New Aquarium, the largest in Latin America, the Central Park, the El Faro cable car, as well as other great attractions, which, as Eric Rodríguez himself said, Their clients have stated that they are delighted with everything they have here, as well as the magnificent treatment of the people, who attend them with open arms.

In this sense, the executive of Sanwing said that “if it were not for you and the warmth of the reception that you give to the client, we would not have so much demand for Mazatlan, in addition to government support as well as hoteliers, what they do receiving our customers; keep doing it in the same way and we will send you more from Canada to this beautiful destination ”.
