The mayor of Mazatlan, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres acknowledged that the park sought shelter in a judge, however, the municipal permits still need to be carried out
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The Floating Water Park “Awax” launched an important advertising campaign this Thursday stating that it was ready to receive the Mazatlecos and tourists, despite an alleged suspension in its usual work.
However, on this occasion the mayor of Mazatlan, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres acknowledged that the representatives of the park won this round because they were protected before a judge and the judge ruled in his favor to operate.
However, the ‘Chemist’ Benitez said that municipal permits are still lacking, so they will have to be regulated.
“Apparently a judge ruled (in favor) to make it work, but as long as it does not comply with Mazatlan’s regulations, we will not allow it,” he said.
