Cold front number 7 is bringing rains to the states of Oaxaca, Puebla, Veracruz, Chiapas, and Tabasco; intense in Tamaulipas; very strong in San Luis Potosí, Guerrero and Campeche. While heavy raining is expected for Nuevo León, Zacatecas, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos, Tlaxcala, Yucatán, and Quintana Roo. And isolated showers for Aguascalientes, Nayarit, Colima, Sinaloa, and Durango.
But this cold front is also causing a marked decrease in temperature in northern Mexico, with possible frosts and extremely low temperatures 0 degrees Celsius (32 F°) in the mountains of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Durango.
In contrast, temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius (88 to 96 F°) are expected in Baja California Sur, Campeche, and Yucatán.
