EarthX 2020 – The Biggest Environmental Movement in Mexico Is Coming To Mazatlán
Earth X, the world’s biggest environmental event for 10 years running, is bringing their conference to Mazatlán for the first time in 2020 through its partner, Earth X Mexico. Their goal is to educate and inspire people and organizations to take action towards a more sustainable future, especially on specific environmental issues affecting Mexico’s pacific coast.
For the last 10 years, the conference has been educating participants with showcasing the latest environmental products and initiatives, through sustainability forums and conferences, and through emerging media that showcases the effects of climate change.
The event is planning to screen independent environmental films, give talks from the country’s leading eco-specialists and host expos promoting the latest in sustainable technology.
“Earth X Mazatlán is the perfect opportunity for the expat community to give back to the city that they love so much. Many of the expats in Mazatlán have a lot of experience and passion when it comes to environmental initiatives, which makes this event a great opportunity to come together as volunteers, fundraisers and ambassadors and make a real impact in this city.”
Juan Carlos, CEO of Earth X Mexico
Earth X Mazatlán will bring awareness to many environmental concerns that are specific to Mazatlán and the surrounding communities, but it will also bring interactive ways that locals and visitors can get involved first-hand.
