Mazatlan Aquarium has a successful season for sea turtle care

MAZATLAN SINALOA.- This Friday, the XXXIII Meeting of Children of Northwest Mexico for the Conservation of Sea Turtles, which was organized by the Education and Research Coordination of the Mazatlan Aquarium, ended with great success.

The closing ceremony was held in the “Miguel Valadés Lejarza” Auditorium of the paramunicipal.

This activity has as a spinal cord the sowing in children a change of behavior to take care of the environment and especially of this marine species that is in danger of extinction, and that in this season, the tumbling of turtles in Mazatlan was historically less compared With other seasons.

In this childhood encounter, it housed 100 children, who arrived from Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Guasave, Teodoro Beltrán, Barras de Piaxtla, San Blas, Nayarit and southern Sinaloa such as El Recreo, La Sirena, El Castillo, Rosario, Escuinapa, Teacapán, Isla de la Piedra and Los Pozos.

The children lived unique experiences because in addition to the fun they attended interactive conferences, workshops, work tables, and other outdoor activities in the countryside, each and every one of them focused on the care and conservation of the marine species.
