Packers estimate that in this half of the week the activity begins to increase with the gradual arrival of more boats
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- With the arrival of the first vessels to port the shrimp maquiladoras in Mazatlan began work last Saturday, although the bulk of work would arrive as of Wednesday, said Maria Candelaria Casterana Govea.
The leader of a group of shrimp balers commented that on Monday a vessel arrived for unloading, however, because of the volume of product the freezer companies are not very profitable, so they are waiting for another producer to arrive to start with Crustacean discharge.
He said that little by little the ships are arriving to make shrimp discharges in the refrigeration and they expect the activity to increase in this midweek to last until the end of the catch season.
