Helping, giving life expectancy and painting a sincere smile for those women, boys and girls who fight against cancer are the objectives of the Second Coletón that through “Artisans Working with the Heart” AC, began the collection of hair and material to the manufacture of oncological wigs at the fashion mall, Acaya Mazatlán.
This Friday in the hallways of the square, Karen Hernández and Ricardo Ríos, from the Mercadoecnia department, set the stage where the director of the municipal Inmujer, María del Carmen Ramírez Morales, accompanied by the president of the civil association, Jade Sánchez proceeded to inaugurate the Second Coletón.
In the first edition, 300 tails of hair were brought together with which the Artisans of the Heart, who are volunteers, made wigs for those women fighters who have lost their hair in their fight against cancer but not life expectancy.
For this Second Coletón the space designated in the corridors of Plaza Acaya Mazatlán will be available from 11:00 to 18:00 hours, this so that all those who want to join this noble cause, come to donate their hair, which should measure 15 centimeters long and forward, it doesn’t matter if you have it painted, that is to say dyed, washed out or battered.
There is also a collection center where you will receive material for the manufacture of cancer wigs, which hopes to exceed the mark of the last edition. There will also be an exhibition with cause, a scenario to entertain children and adults, as well as talks of great interest to women, such as the one presented by Paola Álvarez, which was titled “MY Attitude to Disease”.
So you know, join this noble cause and go to your Acaya Mazatlan shopping plaza and support the “Artisans Working with the Heart” AC to give new light to the lives of women and their families fighting cancer.
