President Andrés Manuel López Obrador arrived at the Mazatlan International Airport, where he was received amid demonstrations from different sectors.
The president was received by Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel and Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres.
There are also Carlos Berdegué, president of the Hotel Association, in addition to Humberto Becerra Batista, representing the fishing sector that since 2018 has been fighting for an increase in the subsidy of marine diesel.
The president was accompanied by the director of the IMSS Zoe Robledo Aburto, with whom he will head the Dialogue event in the Community of the Rural Hospital of Villa Unión, the first public event this Friday in Sinaloa.
The workers who were fired from the City Council of Mazatlan, and were marked “rats” by the mayor, will deliver a document in which they report the irregularities that each one observed from their area in the Commune.
