El Rosario Sinaloa invites you to the festivities of its Patron Saint

Since 1731 the municipality of El Rosario has been celebrating the invocation of the Virgin Mary “Our Lady of the Rosary” with great festivities.

Humberto Aguirre, Tourism Coordinator of El Rosario, stressed that it is already a tradition within the municipality that distinguishes it even more as a magical town.

“It is the most important religious holiday in the municipality, a really important party for us in which families and the entire town of El Rosario turns to this holiday in which we are inviting all people to come to celebrate,” commented.

Aguirre reported that last year’s celebration left an economic benefit very important for the municipality.

“For us it represents a very important economic spill of around 15 million pesos in the nine days that it takes place and that impacts a lot; This year we expect approximately 50 thousand people to enjoy the holidays, ”he added.

The festivities will begin on Friday, September 27 with novenarios and pilgrimages until Sunday, October 6, in which the traditional Mañanitas and the tour of Our Lady of the Rosary will be carried out accompanied by a live band through the main streets of the city to culminate with an artistic presentation.
