The senator from Sinaloa showed herself in favor of regularizing the entire process of production and transformation of marijuana for recreational and medicinal use

The senator of Morena by Sinaloa, Imelda Castro Castro, was in favor of the legalization of marijuana in Mexico and announced that a fundamental issue that will have to go through the Senate of the Republic in this month since it is a mandate of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

The legislator said that the entire process of production and transformation of cannabis should be regulated for recreational and medicinal use.

“Not only are we in favor but we are promoters that the entire process of cannabis production and transformation must be regulated for the medical issue and so that it is also a form of tax collection,” she said.

Finally, she announced that there are about ten initiatives on the subject and they are discussing them, however, for her it is an issue that has to be approved to obtain more public resources and that this big business for criminal organizations be taxed
