The US ultra-low-cost airline, Frontier Airlines, announced that it will add one more route to the Cancun International Airport, connecting it to Indianapolis from next December. Flights are now available through the sales channels of the airline, which launched a special promotion to celebrate the opening of the new route.
The route will be operated seasonally from December 20 with two weekly frequencies every Monday and Friday, on board Airbus A320 equipment, which in the Frontier fleet, are configured with 180 seats in single class. The last operation in this winter season is scheduled for March 9 of next year. However, dates are subject to change.
Thus, flight F989 will take off from the Indianapolis International Airport at 11: 55LT (GMT-4), landing in the Mexican Caribbean city at 15: 29LT (GMT-5). At the same time, on the way back, flight F988 will take off from the Cancun International Airport at 14: 34LT, landing in Indianapolis at 18: 52LT; Both flights will have an estimated average duration of three hours and twenty-six minutes.
With the incorporation of this new route, Frontier now offers nonstop flights to five cities from Indianapolis; Flights are now available through the airline’s sales channels. And to celebrate the new route to Cancun, it launched a promotional rate of $ 84 (about 1,350 Mexican pesos) the stretch, to fly every Monday as long as it is available. As an ultra-low-cost airline, passengers have the option to ‘customize’ the trip according to needs and budget, such as checked luggage, seat allocation, board service, among others.
