Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- In order to learn about the programs that Canada’s West Jet airline has prepared for the next winter season, the Sinaloa Ministry of Tourism and the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies of Mazatlan participate in the so-called “West Jet Fall Travel Trade Expos”, held in Victoria, Canada.

On behalf of the Secretary of Tourism Óscar Pérez Barros, the Undersecretary of Promotion Sylvia Ruiz Coppel, said that they have had good results in the promotion of the State, before travel agents and tour operators who have shown interest in knowing the places of tourist interest that they have.

He said that they have developed information schemes with more than one hundred travel agents from that town and its surroundings, to show once again everything that Sinaloa offers.

In this regard, the head of the Sectur Óscar Pérez Barros commented that the prospects are very good in the sense that air frequencies are expected to continue to be maintained and receive a greater number of tourists from that Canadian region.

The promotional work carried out abroad is precisely so that the tour operators and travel agencies have in their hands all the information that is required so that they know the wonders that the entity has, both in beaches such as Magic and Stately Towns, its gastronomy, in addition to the various attractions that we have here.

He commented that West Jet has flights from Canada, among others, from, Winnepeg, Vancouver, Edmonton and Saskatoon, expecting an increase in visitors from next winter season.

The “West Jet Fall Travel Trade Expos” is the commercial travel exhibition that is displayed to its hotel and destination partners.
