Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The members of the Municipal Emergency Care Committee agreed to three immediate actions, during the fourth session, during the night of this Thursday, as a result of the effects of tropical storm Lorena; the first of them a tour of the rural south to verify the situation of twelve families of the community of Lomas de Monterrey that may require transfer to a temporary shelter.
Meanwhile, the secretary of Municipal Public Security in Mazatlan Federico Ríos Valdez reported that the elements of the Aquatic Rescue Squad rescued two people from the Deer Island, where fortunately the individuals are safe and sound.

In the fourth extraordinary session of the Municipal Emergency Assistance Committee it was reported that Tropical Storm Lorraine will cause moderate to heavy rains in the next hours in Mazatlan.
